We are long time pet owners and lovers, and took the leap to start Paws + Us in 2018 after working 9-5 jobs we didn't enjoy. We know how important our pets are and wanting the best care. We treat them as our own, and they will love being part of the pack!

Amy has lived in New York her entire life and Amanda is originally from New Mexico. We both grew up around animals from dogs and cats to small reptiles and birds, and our knowledge only continues to grow. Our dog, Theo, has been both our biggest struggle and source of inspiration. He is dog reactive which made us look into dog behavior, training methods, and ways to help him and improve our lives together. Amy has also volunteered and worked at veterinary offices and has some insight into the "behind the scenes" of animal care, giving medications, etc.

We both have backgrounds in photography and video as well, so you can expect lots of pictures when your pets are with us. Keep an eye out for our photoshoots!
